Frontline police refusing high-risk call outs due to fear

Some frontline police officers are so scared of being attacked or shot on the job that they have refused to go to high-risk callouts.

National claims that officers now face a greater threat from armed gang members.

Around 1200 frontline constables will be given an extra week of training to help them deal with risky jobs.
