New Zealand Defence Force personnel who work in managed isolation facilities have to play by different rules when not at work, depending on whether they are on a NZDF base or out in the community.
The NZDF has barred workers from communal facilities on bases such as gyms, mess facilities or bars, but there are no restrictions for staff when they're out in the community.
