Only 3 percent of young adults in need of measles shot have had one

From Morning Report, 7:23 am on 16 March 2021

Half way through a year-long vaccination campaign to prevent another dangerous measles outbreak, only about 3 percent of young adults who need an injection have had one.

The government launched its campaign in July to reach hundreds of thousands of 15 to 30 year olds who are not fully immunised.

Many district health boards are struggling to get it done in the face of Covid-19 commitments and more.
