Family doctors are backing the Government's Covid-19 vaccine rollout plan, but say more details are needed and they must be involved.
Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins on Wednesday unveiled a plan to roll out the vaccine to two million New Zealanders in the most at-risk groups.
After border workers' households, which have just begun, it will focus on frontline health workers, and those in high-risk settings.
Those in south Auckland who are over 65 and have health issues will get the vaccine from this month, and all others over 65 from May.
