Myanmar coup: Three more killed by armed forces

From Morning Report, 8:42 am on 9 March 2021

At least three more people have been killed by armed forces in Myanmar on the day when trade unions initiated an indefinite general strike to try and paralyse the economy.

More than 50 people have been killed and nearly 2000 have been detained.

Despite escalating violence, anti-coup protestors continue to gather in some of the largest demonstrations seen since the military seized power last month.
