Covid-19: Papatoetoe High School students who refused test will be monitored in isolation - Verrall

From Morning Report, 7:56 am on 5 March 2021

Cabinet meets today to decide whether to take Auckland out of Alert Level 3 and the the rest of the country out of Level 2.

As of this morning, there are no new cases in the community extending the four-day run of good news.

But health authorities are still waiting on the tests of a "long tail" of about 30 close contacts, most of them from a Papatoetoe gym and those results could be critical in any decision.

There are also two students at Papatoetoe High School who have declined tests for Covid-19.

Corin Dann spoke to Associate Minister of Health Ayesha Verrall.
