NEMA on first two tsunami warnings

The National Emergency Management Agency has had a busy night and is now having to assess the latest quake north of New Zealand in the Kermadecs 7.4.

That one was 10 kilometres deep and hazardous tsunami waves are possible within 300 kilometres of the epicentre, according to the the Pacific Tsunami warning centre in Hawaii.
