Wellington librarians upset with city council

From Morning Report, 8:46 am on 4 March 2021

Wellington librarians are deeply upset and angry with their employer - the city council - for proposing to sell off half the central library, and cut their budget by 40 percent.

Their union the PSA says many fear what that will mean for the services they deliver to the community.

It's expected a number of councillors will try to overturn those decisions at another council meeting later this morning.
