Dairy prices continue to shoot up, reaching a seven year high in the latest global auction overnight.
The price for wholemilk powder rose 15 percent to US$4231 a tonne.
Analysts had tipped a small lift, but not 15 percent. Julia Jones is the head of analytics at NZX.
