Some very huge planes will be spotted over Wairarapa this weekend. Wings Over Wairarapa will be held over three days in Masterton, starting on Friday.
Plans are in motion for a whopping US airforce B-52 to fly over Hood Aerodrome tomorrow.
It's been a long wait.
In 2019, the B-52's debut in Wairarapa was grounded in Australia on its way to New Zealand, due to a maintenance issue.
On Thursday night the organisers also announced a Royal Australian Air Force Hercules will make return trips across the Tasman for this year's show.
Wings Over Wairarapa event manager Jenny Gasson speaks to Corin Dann.
