People paying hundreds for insertion of funded IUDs

Some people are paying hundreds of dollars for contraception that should be free under the public health system.

Since 2019, intrauterine devices Mirena and Jaydess have been fully funded by Pharmac.

But insertion can cost well over $100, making it unattainable for many.
