A bid to scrap a $19 million cycleway plan for a main Christchurch road will be put before the city's council on Thursday.
Harewood Road would see four lanes cut to two in order to incorporate the Wheels to Wings cycleway connecting the city to the airport.
But locals are irate about the plan which they say will cause traffic congestion, cut on-street parking and hurt local businesses.
