Fire breaks out in forestry block

Six helicopters are fighting a fire in a forestry block in the Tangimoana forest in Manawatu which has burnt through 40 hectares. Fire and Emergency were called to the fire at six o'clock last night. This morning extra firefighters have been deployed to the scene, west of Palmerston North Area Commander Mitchell Brown speaks to Morning Report.
