Principals accuse Education Ministry of lack of leadership over kids' test results

From Morning Report, 8:10 am on 2 February 2021

Primary and intermediate school principals say our children's under-achievement in maths and science should be ringing alarm bells for education bosses.

Principals' Federation president Perry Rush has written to the Education Ministry, accusing it of a lack of leadership following the release of international test results over the last two years, which show a decline in performance by Kiwi students.

He is demanding the Ministry provide teachers with a more coherent curriculum. Rush speaks to Corin Dann.
