New Zealanders wanting to return home from overseas will likely have to wait months if they haven't already booked managed isolation.
All 4500 spaces in the country's border hotels are now booked until June and even cancelled bookings aren't being re-released, as the government temporarily accounts for the loss of 250 beds at the Pullman Hotel.
