The EU has threatened to limit exports of Covid-19 vaccines to other countries outside the bloc as production problems emerge.
AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech have both said they cannot supply the promised numbers of doses.
Despite the rollout issues in the EU, Dr Ashley Bloomfield says he's assured that delivery of the Pfizer vaccine - the first that will arrive in the country - is still on schedule.
