A few nerves and two weeks in managed isolation haven't been enough to keep White Ferns cricket captain Sophie Devine down.
Playing her first game in seven weeks, yesterday Devine set a new world record in a domestic match against Otago in Dunedin.
The New Zealand captain hit a century from just 36 balls, the fastest in the history of women's T20 cricket, to lead Wellington to a 10-wicket win with more than 11 overs to spare.
Devine only left managed isolation on Sunday, having returned from the Women's Big Bash League in Australia.
After the match, she told sports reporter Clay Wilson, the record-breaking performance was still sinking in.
