The US President, Donald Trump, has defended his speech that sparked last week's deadly Capitol riot, calling it "totally appropriate".
Mr Trump falsely claimed election fraud, and then urged his supporters to march to the Capitol and fight the certification of the election result.
The President says Democrats' efforts to impeach him for inciting insurrection are "ridiculous" and has warned it will cause "tremendous anger" and "tremendous danger" to the country.
