Record numbers of children have enrolled in home-schooling this year.
Education Ministry figures show more than seven-thousand children were being home-schooled on July the first, 619 more than the same time last year.
That's the biggest annual increase on record, but Adrian Koit from the Auckland Home Educators group told our education correspondent John Gerritsen he was expecting a lot more.
