Laura Fergusson Trust says it can go on after selling rehabilitation centre

From Morning Report, 8:16 am on 16 December 2020

A society set up more than 50 years ago to help people living with disability says it can keep going even as it sells off its rehabilitation centre.

One health specialist says the Laura Fergusson Trust in Auckland cannot afford to keep the centre running because government funding is too low.

Others say the trust's board has managed the society poorly and selling the Greenlane site will leave disabled people in Auckland with nowhere to go.
