Thousands of rock art pictures, some depicting Ice Age creatures, have been revealed by researchers in the Amazon rainforest.

The giant canvas was created an estimated 12,500 years ago.

Archaeologists discovered tens of thousands of paintings of animals and humans on cliff faces that stretch across about 10 kilometres in Colombia.

On the team which uncovered the remote site was Dr Mark Robinson, an achaeologist and researcher at the University of Exeter.

He speaks to Corin Dann.
