The Auditor-General has warned the pandemic is putting hundreds of millions of dollars of school income at risk.
In his report on this year's audits of school accounts John Ryan says schools earned more than $600 million from foreign students, fund-raising and donations in 2019.
He says they won't make that much next year and that's a problem for schools that are especially reliant on that money.
