Islamic Women's Council wants major public service overhaul

From Morning Report, 8:41 am on 23 November 2020

The Islamic Womens Council of New Zealand is demanding a major overhaul of New Zealand's public service in the wake of the Royal Comission Enquiry into the Christchurch Mosque Attacks.

The group hopes the report, which is due out later this week, will provide a clear picture of the circumstances surrounding the deadly attacks in March 2019.

Crucial details were not made public as the gunman pleaded guilty and there was never a trial.
