Almost 80 percent of homeless trans people have a mental health condition, a new survey has found.
The study of trans Wellingtonians' experiences of homelessness was released today by Gender Minorities Aotearoa.
Researchers say it underlines the importance of stable housing and access to mental healthcare for gender diverse New Zealanders.
