A family at the heart of the country's biggest Covid-19 cluster has described the fear and shock of coming face to face with the virus.
Auckland's August outbreak infected 179 people, sending the city back to Alert Level 3 and the rest of the country to Level 2.
In a first for the country most of those who caught the virus - and often their families - went into full quarantine at the Jet Park hotel. Few people from the cluster have spoken publicly.
One family, who had five members catch the virus, has told RNZ health correspondent Rowan Quinn about their experience.
