A New Zealand PPE expert staying in managed isolation says he's been shocked to see the low level of protection for workers - which is the worst he's seen in the developed world.
Tim Jones works for the New Zealand-owned, overseas-based, company RPB which has been providing respirators to hospitals in 50 countries during the pandemic.
He says he's been surprised, given the great job the country has done with Covid-19, to see the big gap in managed isolation for the virus to get out into the community.
He told RNZ health correspondent Rowan Quinn, he was shocked to see most isolation workers only wearing low level surgical masks.
