Online cheat-detection possible for NCEA exams

Students sitting online NCEA exams could soon be policed with software that monitors their movements and detects cheating.

The Qualifications Authority is looking at systems using artificial intelligence but they won't replace human supervisors.

They will make it easier for small schools to offer end-of-year exams.
