The executive officer of the Property Investors Federation is defending her claim that first-home buyers are hindering the housing market by purchasing rentals.
Sharon Cullwick from the Property Investors Federation told RNZ on Tuesday first home buyers are worsening the housing crisis.
Cullwick admitted property investors are also to blame - but said 90 percent of them only own their own home and one other.
On Wednesday Cullwick told Morning Report first home buyers move out of flats into single-occupancy houses, which means fewer people in more houses.
