Former national archive staff warn against restructure

Former staff at the national film and sound archive are warning that an impending restructure could mean New Zealanders' access to the past will be irreversibly lost.

Nga Taonga Sound and Vision will disestablish 29 roles next month, replacing them with as many new jobs that aim to improve public access to the historical content.

But those who spent years working in the archive's collection say that won't be the case.
