Future of Wellington's central library to be decided today

From Morning Report, 8:50 am on 28 October 2020

The future of Wellington's earthquake-risk central library will be decided today at a City Council meeting.

There are two main options on the table for Councillors to consider - strengthen the existing building or demolish and rebuild.

The outcome will pave the way to the re-opening of the building, which has been closed for a year and a half already.
