Parties meet to sort out post-election issues today

From Morning Report, 8:22 am on 28 October 2020

Labour and the Greens have limited time to sort out exactly how they might work together this term - with the Greens expected to present the possible governing arrangements to their membership by the end of the week.

The parties are expected to meet again today. Also meeting today are the National caucus - their second formal gathering since the election results came in.

That caucus is expected to canvas the campaign's failings and its game plan after last week farewelling a long list of departing colleagues.

The leader Judith Collins will later meet one-on-one with her MPs to discuss their plans and potential portfolio roles.
