Officials are launching a new campaign to stop the fatalities on one of the country's most lethal highways.
Eight people have died on the Napier-Taupo Rd since December last year, including 37-year-old Tino Tagiilima just three days ago.
Hawke's Bay reporter Tom Kitchin toured the highway with road police.
