A landslide victory for Labour gives them first MMP majority

It's been a landslide victory, so huge in scale it was scarcely the dream of even the most fervent Labour supporters. Labour has won 49 percent of the vote, just shy of twice as much as National's 27. Labour can govern alone, it would be the first party to do so in New Zealand under MMP.
