Labour's Grant Robertson and National's Paul Goldsmith have squared off yet again - this time in last night's Stuff finance debate.
Fiscal holes, the cost of housing and the Provincial Growth Fund were all in play as the pair traded barbs on how best to balance the government's books.
And while both contenders agreed the country faces significant economic strife because of Covid-19 - they were poles apart on how to best handle it.
