Election 2020: James Shaw on final week of the campaign

Against a backdrop of an unprecedented global crisis, one of the most unusual elections in a generation will be over in under a week.

So in the last week of campaigning we're attempting to catch up with the party leaders to see how it is all panning out.

After gaining ministerial roles for the first time in 2017, most polls show the Green Party just scraping back into the House.

Those polls also illustrate the increasingly likely scenario that Labour will need the Greens' continued support to govern.

Green Party co-leader James Shaw says he expects to be negotiating a wealth tax with Labour after the election, even though Labour has ruled it out.

"I keep saying over and over again, that you've got to give voters a chance to have their say and then you can have a negotiation," he told Morning Report
