Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she's not entertaining the prospect of governing alone, despite the fact a new poll shows she could have the support to do it.
The latest poll from Newshub-Reid Research poll has the Labour Party on 50.1 percent and National sitting at 29.6 percent.
Ardern said she's not planning on going it alone
"That's not a prospect I've entertained," she told Morning Report.
"It's just not been something that MMP elections have delivered, and we're certainly not complacent so we're not taking for granted an outcome like that."
