Jury hears cell phone audio at Comancheros trial

From Morning Report, 8:46 am on 10 September 2020

The police bugged cellphones belonging to members and associates of the Comancheros gang, listening live to calls for nearly a year before raiding the bikies in a major bust.

Five people, including the New Zealand president Pasilika Naufahu, are on trial in the High Court at Auckland facing drug, money laundering and organised crime charges.

Yesterday, jurors were played intercepted phone calls allegedly made by gang associates.

Jordan Bond was there.
