Secondary school principals are pleased the government has made NCEA easier for Auckland students.
The city's teens will be allowed to earn more bonus credits than those in other parts of the country in recognition of the fact they have been through a second lockdown.
The president of the Secondary Principals Association, Deidre Shea, is also the principal of Onehunga High School.
She told RNZ education correspondent John Gerritsen the changes are just what Auckland needed.
