Potential pheasant shooting law change no game for some

Feathers are being ruffled over a potential law change that could allow land owners to charge people to shoot pheasants.

It is currently illegal to charge people to hunt game birds on private land, unless special dispensation is given.

But a controversial vote by the New Zealand Fish and Game Council to change the law, is sparking fears of a commercial hunting industry only available to the elite.
