Auckland principals want urgent NCEA decision

Auckland secondary school principals want an urgent decision on whether their students will get more help to pass NCEA.

The government made changes to the qualification following the national lockdown earlier this year and the Education Review Office has said more might be needed if there is a second lockdown.

Steve Hargreaves from the Auckland Secondary Principals Association told RNZ education correspondent, John Gerritsen, the city's teenagers have been disadvantaged.
