Tasmanian tiger pelt headed to Australian museum

A Tasmanian tiger pelt has been found in a drawer in a Wairarapa taxidermy museum, where it has lain for decades.

David Thurrowgood from Applied Conservation Science in Tasmania was instrumental in getting the thylacine to the National Museum of Australia.

He speaks to Corin Dann.
