A gang member operating from inside a prison managed to set up a bar tab for Corrections staff drinking at a pub after hours in an attempt to corrupt prison guards.
Corrections say the guards didn't take the bait and walked away when the offer was made but police are now investigating the incident after Corrections called in a special team which monitors staff integrity.
