Chch mosque shootings: Flood of victim impact statements

The Christchurch mass killer and terrorist will find out today if he will remain in prison for the rest of his life.

Brenton Tarrant is being sentenced in the High Court in Christchurch on 51 charges of murder, 40 of attempted murder and one charge of terrorism.

There has been a last minute flood of victims wanting to have their day in court and confront the gunman.

There were so many that submissions from the Crown and the gunman himself had to be delayed until today.

Then the shock news came at the very end of the day that Tarrant, who is representing himself in court, would not be addressing the court at all.
