From Morning Report, 7:50 am on 26 August 2020

New Zealand nurses have responded to an appeal from a Melbourne hospital to cross the Tasman and boost staff numbers treating Covid-19 patients.

St Vincent's Hospital is facing shortages brought on by either infection or fatigue.

Dozens of nurses have been forced into isolation.

Chief nursing officer Kath Riddell told Corin Dann why she's put the call out for New Zealanders, who will work for two months on the front line.
