The government is being told it should launch an inquiry into its response to the Covid-19 pandemic as soon as the Auckland outbreak is under control.
Public health experts say the 100 Covid-19 free days was a wasted opportunity and a review should have started then.
They say any inquiry could offer interim advice every few months, guiding the response to any future outbreaks.
