A public health expert is predicting the Alert Level restrictions will be extended today because of the growing number of cases in Auckland.
Professor Sir David Skegg, from Otago University, is questioning how well prepared the country was to beat back a resurgence of the virus.
He is particularly critical of our preparedness around masks and digital contact tracing.
