The owner of Taupō tourist company that took two people infected with Covid-19 on a lake cruise is confident the risk to other passengers is very low.
Four members of the Auckland family travelled to Rotorua last weekend and on Monday visited Taupō and did a trip with Sail Barbery.
Owner Peter Battell says they were among 13 passengers and there was plenty of room on the boat which can fit 26.
The cruise lasted two and half hours.
He says the yacht was not used again until Wednesday morning.
