World leaders have pledged "major" resources to help Lebanon's recovery at a virtual summit hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, following the devastating explosion in Beirut that left 300,000 people homeless and the country in despair.
Protestors have taken to the streets again today, targeted at the elites that they hold responsible for the disaster.
Government buildings were occupied on the weekend, and police used tear gas and rubber bullets on protestors.
