A former New Zealand Commonwealth Games gymnast says a culture of abuse is so ingrained in gymnastics many athletes fail to recognise it.
Dr Georgia Cervin is now an honourary research fellow in sports history at the University of Western Australia.
She spoke with sports reporter Felicity Reid about how Gymnastics New Zealand is dealing with claims of abuse.
