A psychologist says the government will have a tough time convincing people to use the Covid tracing app while there's no community transmission.
The Health Minister Chris Hipkins is urging people to keep using the app, and says constant vigilance is a small price to pay to continue to be the envy of the world.
A clinical psychologist at Victoria University, Dougal Sutherland, told RNZ reporter Jordan Bond that for most people there's not a strong incentive to use the app.
